This was in 2016 that Times of India came up with the idea of Car rally only for women along with FMSCI. They had been doing this in Mumbai and Pune for past 7 years and in 2016 they included the Bangalore city to the list. So it was arrond 400 cars from Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore which participated in the rally and converged in Goa. This was also featured in Limca Book of Records for the largest event for women only car rally. This was something new and I wanted to try it out.

Myself the driver and Sujothi the navigator, were the team members. This drive was 750 km on TSD (Time, Distance, Speed) measure spread over 2 days…

On the way of the Day 1 drive, we took a short break and enjoyed an ice cream…

This was the first car rally we participated and we managed to get 4th palce out of 100 cars from Bangalore. Though it was proud but it was tough to accept the fact that we lost the 3rd place by 5 mins…
